Our formal dining room with open fire is available for romantic dinners. The left hand picture at the bottom illustrates this room. Imagine the crackling of the open fire on those brisk evenings and the flickering of candlelight while you enjoy a superb three course dinner prepared especially for you using local and organic produce when available, served on fine china, silver cutlery, crystal glassware with linen tablecloth and napkins.
The original front section of the house contains our two guests rooms. The rooms are named after the original owners - Batema & Evison. The "Batema" Suite is a delighful air conditioned room complete with a queen sized brass bed and a private lounge with an open fire opposite overlooking the front garden. The bed is pictured below and the room has an ensuite - a romantic old fashion feel. Our second room - The "Evison", offers a refreshing country feel with a queen sized bed, couch and walk-in wardrobe. A huge bathroom contains an original deep, claw foot bath and an extra large shower.The Evison room with reverse cycle air conditioning also has a private outside sitting area encompassing the side garden with an array of superb colour also doubling as an alternative entrance.
Between the two rooms is our cosy Library which is the perfect place to catch up on that newspaper reading or end the day with a nightcap and chocolates.
Both rooms have their own fridge which contains a limited supply of wine and mixed drinks. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in both rooms.
